Gratitude

October 02, 20222 min read

I took some time off this week, spending a lot of time resting, planning, and reading fiction. And while I really enjoyed the break, I do miss my clients and my work.

I’m so grateful to have fulfilling work that allows me to connect deeply with wonderful people and help them feel better and get stronger. Work that enriches my soul.

I plan to spend this coming quarter leaning more into gratitude. I started Lynda Lippin Pilates 33 years ago, and there are so many amazing things that have happened that I don’t spend enough time being grateful for.

Amazing things like…

Being invited to teach a workshop in Turks and Caicos that led to moving there for 6 years, teaching at Parrot Cay by COMO for 4 of them, and winning the 2011 SpaFinder Magazine Reader’s Choice Award for Best Pilates.

Getting to connect with Pilates colleagues and other professionals from all over the globe through The Pilates Goddess Podcast – starting with Joan Breibart, Allan Menezes, Alison Marsh, Tania Huddart, and Dr. Sam Slattery. And of course, you! Being connected is so wonderful. Getting to hear back from subscribers and having a direct line to my readers, listeners, clients, colleagues, and other Pilates and bone health lovers is invaluable.

So consider this a personal thank you from me to you. I’m so grateful to have you in my world. I really love helping people feel and function better and love having you here with me while I do it.
